Therefore, it is critical that teachers constantly reflect on their own perceptions of students and the learning that is happening in the classroom. These classroom routines can be completed during planning<br>or any time teachers are reflecting their practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Traction planners are designed to focus our attention to the strengths that students and teachers bring to a unit of study by making teacher perception of student learning visible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most importantly though, Traction Planners aim to root new learning in learner strengths as this allows learner to  begin with something that they can use to gain traction toward the new goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img
